Solutions
For IP law firms
Evidence built before the dispute, by your clients, ready to use as-is in your case files.
The evidentiary burden is handled upstream
Time your teams can spend on advice.
In an infringement case, your teams often have to reconstruct a timeline: tracking down emails, digging up files, getting colleagues to attest and arguing over the reliability of metadata. That work is long, costly for the client, and its strength depends on what was kept.
When the client has timestamped their work as they went, the timeline already exists. It is dated by an independent time authority and a third party can verify it directly from the certificate.
Ipocamp documents what your clients produce between meetings with you. You get the raw material for your case files, built up as the work is created.
For the firm
What you gain from it
A tool worth recommending, a workload moved elsewhere, and a client relationship that stays yours.
You stay the point of reference
Ipocamp complements your advisory role. You advise, decide the filing strategy and litigate. The service dates and preserves the elements useful for the case.
Exhibits ready to submit
PDF certificate with fingerprint, date, timestamping authority and public verification link. Export of the full case file, item by item, ready to submit in proceedings.
Documenting creations without a registered title
Some of your consultations concern creations not covered by an industrial property title. The certificate provides an operational answer to document their date and integrity.
No cost to you
It's the end client who subscribes. The partner program gives you a dedicated contact, materials with your branding, and tracking of the cases you've referred.
Firm questions
What your peers ask
The six points raised systematically in the first conversation.
Evidentiary value
Is it admissible?
In civil matters, evidence is free-form (Art. 1358 of the French Civil Code). The judge assesses the reliability of the method: secure timestamping and an unalterable registry provide the technical elements examined in this context.
Confidentiality
What do you see of the file?
Without a subscription, the fingerprint is computed at deposit and the file is transferred, encrypted, to our storage, so it can be retrieved if you open an account. With a subscription, you choose to entrust us with the source file, encrypted, for better organization. Only the fingerprint is timestamped, and the content stays confidential in both cases.
Independence
Do you need an account to verify?
Verification is done from the certificate and the fingerprint, using open standards. It is public and needs no account.
Retention
For how long?
The certificate stays verifiable for life, with no recurring fees. A file kept in your space is deleted three years after termination.
Scope
What is the certificate's role?
A patent or a trademark grants a monopoly. A certificate documents a date and the integrity of a file. The two complement each other, and the call remains yours.
Insurance
Who bears the risk?
Distribution is handled by Ipocamp, a broker registered with ORIAS. The firm acts neither as intermediary nor as underwriter.
