With your subscription, Covéa Protection Juridique's legal experts answer your questions by phone, Monday to Saturday. You quickly know whether your situation is a dispute and how to report it.
A diagnosis before any action
The preliminary diagnosis clarifies the protected scope, the owner of each asset and the strength of your proof. It assesses the infringement before any step is taken: some cases are settled at this stage.
Individual support
Once the diagnosis is validated, individual support is offered. If proceedings become necessary, Ipocamp refers you to lawyers specialized in intellectual property and supports the case. Depending on the diagnosis's findings, this support may be charged: the amount is then announced before any commitment.
Your proof, the centerpiece of your case
Your Ipocamp certificates establish what existed, and when. They are admissible in civil matters under the principle of freedom of evidence (Article 1358 of the French Civil Code). The judge remains free to assess their weight in light of the case file.
