What file formats and sizes are accepted?

All file formats are accepted, up to 2 GB per deposit without an account. A subscription removes this limit. Image, source code, audio, video, spreadsheet, text document: everything is accepted, including a compressed archive to deposit a set of files at once.

The service timestamps the file's fingerprint, whatever its format. A 2 GB video and a sketch of a few kilobytes each produce a 32-byte fingerprint, processed in exactly the same way.

For a set of related files, such as the various pieces of a case file, group them into an archive before depositing.
