How long is your proof kept?

Your certificate stays verifiable for life, at no recurring cost. If a dispute arises ten years after the deposit, the original certificate is still your proof.

Verifying your certificate remains possible even if you stop paying afterward: the registry in which the certificate is recorded is unalterable and publicly viewable, whether or not you remain an Ipocamp customer.

Important: this applies to the certificate only. If you kept the file in your Ipocamp space, it remains accessible for three years after your subscription ends, and is then deleted. Always keep your own copy of the source file. Keep it in its original state: it's what lets you reproduce the fingerprint and rely on the proof. If that file is lost or modified, the certificate still exists but can no longer be reliably linked to your creation.
