How long is your proof kept?

Your proof is kept for life, at no recurring cost. A dispute arising ten years after the deposit remains covered by the original certificate.

Verifying your certificate remains possible even if you stop paying afterward: the registry in which the certificate is recorded is tamper-proof and publicly viewable, independent of whether your commercial relationship with Ipocamp continues.

Important: this applies to the certificate only. The source file used for the deposit remains, unless the storage option is enabled, your sole responsibility. Keep it in its original state: it's what lets you reproduce the fingerprint and assert the proof. If that file is lost or modified, the certificate still exists but can no longer be reliably linked to your creation.
